“The Cinderella Plate” – Limited Edition Collectible
Details
This exquisite porcelain collector's plate—"The Cinderella Plate"—was crafted in 1978 by Porcelaine Franklin, in collaboration with Haviland, Limoges, one of the finest porcelain houses in France.
The plate commemorates the 250th anniversary of Charles Perrault, the beloved author of the world's best-known fairy tales. The design beautifully captures the magical narrative of Cinderella, rendered in delicate hand-applied 24k gold accents, cobalt blue borders, and finely detailed miniature scenes from the fairytale.
Each scene is meticulously painted, from the transformation of Cinderella by her fairy godmother to her meeting with the prince at the royal ball. The central image depicts Cinderella in regal attire alongside the prince, surrounded by vignettes of the story’s pivotal moments.
