An exquisite hand-painted Japanese porcelain cup & saucer decorated with a serene windmill landscape at sunset. The scenes sit beneath a deep cobalt blue border enriched with heavy raised gilt scrollwork.
The cup is artist-signed “S. Niki” (near the landscape), confirming studio handwork rather than transfer print. Marked Old Mill China – Made in Japan (export line). A refined collectible that displays beautifully.
